I had a fantastic stay at Hostel Mondpalast for 4 nights. The location is perfect, right on a main street with plenty of restaurants, bars, and supermarkets nearby. It's also within walking distance to the other side of the river, so you don't need to use public transportation. The hostel is very secure with individual passcodes for entry, which made me feel safe. The staff members were friendly and helpful, and they even offer sales at the bar located at the reception. Free coffee and tea were a nice touch too.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

very central to clubs and youth related areas. Easy to get to buses and trams.
Just a little to in the middle of everything for me.

Great location for going out at night, lots of bars and shops nearby. About 15 minutes to center by tram. Lots of cooking utensils in the kitchen. Didnt try the cafe downstairs.
A little cramped and not much place for putting away your things, but that's to be expected from a hostel.

We had a fantastic stay at a hostel in a vibrant location. the staff at Mondpalast were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our time there. the kitchen facilities were spacious and well-equipped, making it easy for us to cook our own meals. the lounge area provided a comfortable space to socialize with other guests, and the bedrooms were spacious with plenty of room between bunk beds. the large windows and terrace doors let in lots of natural light, and the location was convenient with easy access to public transportation. the hostel is also located in a fun area with grocery stores nearby. we highly recommend Mondpalast for a great hostel experience. Cons: Nothing for me 😊.

I had a delightful stay at a cozy hostel in a vibrant neighborhood with great connections to public transportation. As a cyclist, I appreciated the secure bike storage offered. The highlight was the delicious breakfast buffet, a steal for only 4,50euros. The hostel staff were incredibly kind and helpful. I can't say anything bad and really enjoyed my time here. I highly recommend this place to others.

The reception is in a bar lounge and during the we is working 'till morning. Do not choose rooms on the bar area the music sound is loud. (101 is the worst)

A chapel with mortuaries, such a charming addition! Staying at a "Famous Hostel" guarantees a great stay, they really know how to inflate your expectations! Fantastic location in a trendy district, with countless bars for endless boozy nights.
Mortuaries in the chapel were a bit of a mood killer.

The hostel is located in a trendy district with vibrant nightlife, the staff is friendly, and there are cultural events. Loved it!
The cooked meal on the stove smelled great, but unfortunately, it was a guest issue, not the hostel's fault. Oops!

This hostel is in a great location, close to bars, restaurants, and a tram to the city center. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The facilities, including the bathrooms and kitchen, are well-maintained and hygienic. Plus, there are multiple bathrooms available for shared use, ensuring convenience for guests.
It can get noisy at night due to the popularity of the street where the hostel is located.

The price was really cheap, especially for the location. It was great to be able to stay in such a central area without breaking the bank. the bar downstairs had some really good and affordable food options. I loved being able to grab a burger without having to go far. the beds were also quite comfortable, and it was nice to have the option to choose the bed I wanted when checking in.
The staff seemed a bit slow and overwhelmed. I often only saw one person trying to handle everything.

The hostel had a well-equipped kitchen and a spacious lobby for hanging out with friends. the neighborhood was alternative and cool, offering a different vibe from the city center. the staff was friendly and the rooms were tidy and clean. the showers and toilets were well-maintained. the all-you-can-eat breakfast, including vegan options, was worth the price.
Felt great, no complaints.
